Safety & Community Standards
Optijara AI LLC, United Arab Emirates, operates Ayaverse, a welcoming place for everyone, children included, to read and listen. Reading needs no account. Accounts are for ages 13 and up. These standards help families and the whole community use Ayaverse safely. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
1. What is prohibited
- any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers minors, in any handle, name, bio, circle, report or other text;
- grooming, soliciting or facilitating the abuse or exploitation of a child;
- sharing, requesting, offering or promoting CSAM, or links to it.
The Terms of Use also prohibit sexual content of any kind.
2. How Ayaverse is built to limit risk
- Reading and listening need no account. Account creation uses a neutral age question; only an eligibility flag and confirmation time are stored, never a birth date. This is a self-declaration, not identity-based age verification.
- New profiles are private by default for every age. Circles are invite-only: joining requires a current invitation.
- There are no image, video or audio uploads, no direct messages, no comments and no free-text posts: shares can only reference app-provided Quran, dhikr and hadith.
- The only words people write are handles, names, bios and circle details, which pass a word filter for listed sexual and abusive terms.
- Anyone can be blocked, and blocked people do not see each other while signed in.
3. Report a concern
Use Report on a profile, share, circle, circle member or leaderboard row and choose Child safety. Reports go to our moderation queue for human review. To stop contact or visibility from someone, choose Block from their profile or row menu. The word filter and moderation support these controls.
Parents and guardians can ask about or request deletion of a child’s account at hamza.diaz@optijara.ai.
Our designated child-safety contact is hamza.diaz@optijara.ai. Email with the handle or circle concerned and what you saw. Do not attach, download or forward suspected CSAM.
4. Our response
We review reports within 24 hours, prioritising child-safety concerns. We remove violating content and terminate access to accounts responsible for child sexual abuse or exploitation, and keep the report and its snapshot as evidence as the law requires. We report apparent CSAM and child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant authorities, including in the United Arab Emirates, as applicable, and we cooperate with law enforcement.
